It's the only one of its kind in whole of India – "Beach Front Tent Camps"!!
The "Dharmadam Beach Camps" is situated right on the Dharmadam beach, adjoining Dharmadam Beach Park. The property is fenced and kept private for campers. The one acre land is filled with Chavok Trees(Whistling Pine) giving plenty of cover from sun.
The tents are set right in front of the camp giving direct view to the ocean. Toilets and showers are available in the camp.
The major activity at the camp is kayaking, both in the ocean and river.
The northern end of the beach is the estuary of river Anjarakkandy, barely hundred meters from the camp. The other end of the beach, about 250 meters of the coast situates the beautiful island called “Dharmadom Thuruth”
The camp site is owned by DTPC ( District Tourism Promotion Council) Kannur and run by Xtreme Adventures
